What are search Ads and shopping Ads?

 

As we have talked earlier in our previous posts that what is digitaladvertisement, what are its types and what are major platforms to run the Ads on internet. In this session I’ll talk about the search and the shopping Ads on the internet.

Search Ads:  Search Ads are the one of the most used Ads on the internet. Search Ads are those Ads which appear on our screen if we search something on the search engine or on a website. Let’s consider an example. If I search blue T-shirts on the most used search engine “Google”, some search results will appear on my screen. Some Ads with the Ad icon will appear on the top related to what I search on the web appear because these companies and T-shirts brands have pay to the Google for running their Ads on it. Search Ada is the most common method for promotion on the on the internet.

Shopping Ads: Shopping Ads are those Ads which appear in the search results on the internet instead of whole website. These type of Ads are very useful for the companies and brands to brand themselves. Let’s consider the same example if I search blue T-shirts on the google, some products will appear on side of the results on my screen. These products are of those companies who have pay to the Google to show their products in the search results on Google. To run these type of Ads, Google merchant center is used instead of using Google.
