How to write a blog post in blogger

If you have started blogging with blogger.com like I, then this post is for those who use blogger as their content management system. In this post, we are telling you how can you write a perfect blog post in blogger.

I will share with you some steps, if you will follow, your will get a lot of traffic.

 Choose your Topic and search on Google:

First of all, select the topic of your blog post. Don’t select such a topic which have a lot of competition and also don’t select such topic which has zero competition. After selecting the topic, search the main keyword on Google and scroll down, copy the suggestion results and paste on your Notepad. Open the most popular post and read it once and analyze it that why Google has put it on top of the results.

Choose Title of your blog post:

First, you have to choose a topic of your blog post. Select the best keyword from those keywords which you picked from Google in the last step. Insert the keyword in your Title, so it can rank better in search engines. I will prefer you to choose long tail keywords.

Start writing content:

After choosing the title, start writing content below in your blogger post editor. You should also insert main keywords in your content but not too many. Your content should not be in pure vocabulary, you should us simple English. Don’t write too much content in one paragraph. One paragraph should only consist of three to four lines and you should have white space in your blog.

Include links:

One post of 1000+ words should have 5+ links in the content. There are two types of links. One is internal linking ad the other is external linking. If you write such a keyword in your post on which you have written before, select the word and embed a link in it. If you have not written on a keyword which is important, you can include an external link in your post.

Include Images:

Images are the beauty of your blog, they give a comfort to the reader. Your blog post must have a featured image which represents the title and topic of your post. Copyright images should be strictly avoided. You can pick images from different free images websites. Famous websites are UnSplash, Pexels and Freepik. Not all type of images available on these website, if you don’t find image from there, you can use Canva or pixillab to design your images.

After selecting the images, drag them in your blog post, give them a good caption and also include Title and Alt text. Select suitable size of your image.

Embed a video:

If you think that your reader also need information in video form, you can embed a video. Many bloggers have their own YouTube channel. So, thy embed their videos on related blog post but you can also embed video of any other channel. There is no issue. All you have to do is copy the embed code and paste it in the HTML of your blog post where you want.

Make headings and points in your content:

You should write from point to point, you can make little headings and points in the post which make reader easily understand what y oar trying to saying. If your post will top on Google, it will show your points and headings on top.

Include search description:

If you are new in blogger, go to settings and enable search description, write search description of your blog that what your blog is about. When you enable the search description, it will also appear in the side bar of your post editor. In the search description, try to insert main keywords like you did in Title. You can write search description of 150 characters not words. In those 150 characters, you have to embed main keywords and also some engaging thing which will attract reader to click on your post.

Attach labels and permalink:

Labels are the categories of your blog. Bloggers make 6-7 labels which are their categories and then they regularly post in those categories. Attach a label which is related to the specific category of your blog or insert old label which you are using for such content.

After you write title, the link of your blog post will automatically appear in permalink as your auto link, you can add a custom links and also embed keywords there.

See preview:

Before publishing a post, see preview and check that whether your post is reader friendly or not. If everything is good, click on publish button and your post will be published in front of whole world. If you are using and Ad network, you can also embed ad code in the HTML of your blog post.

Index in Webmaster tools:

After publishing your post, go to Google search console and Bing webmaster tools. If you don’t have an account, make an account. Go to URL inspection and past the link of your blog post. Then, click request index, if your post or blog have no problem, your post will be indexed in 12-48 hours in both webmaster tools.
