Make money freelancing |
Freelancing
is rising because the income of freelancers is more than that of 9-5 workers.
Before getting in to the freelancing, the first question which come to the
people is how much can they earn as a freelancer and that should be the first
question also because people will choose freelancing only if they find any
advantage and money in it.
Today,
I am going to tell you that how much money can you make as a freelancer.
You
can gain a big power as a freelancer and can cross your competitive people. I
know such persons who learn freelancing from YouTube and then they bought their
own car just after 6 months. I also know such persons which started freelancing
as an individual and now they have hired many employees to outsources their
work.
People ask what is the limit. I have only one answer to this question that “Sky is the limit”.
As
a seasoned freelancer, you can earn money ranging from $10 to $10000 per month.
This is not impossible, the thing required is just “hard work” and mastery of your “skill set” can put you on the way
of success. But please don’t just
focus on the amount of the money, follow freelancing as a passion. You can do
nothing if you have no interest in that particular thing.
If
you focus on your work rather than on money, money will automatically come
because money is the by-product of success.
Hey!
It is not just a motivation post. As written in the topic I will tell you the
income of freelancers according to
different surveys and stats. The successful
freelancers who have an experience of number of years over freelancing are
making over $5000 from home just by doing freelancing. The $5000 is 10 times
than the average salary of government servant in sub-continent and Srilanka
type countries. The term that freelancers earn more than the average worker is
absolutely true.
If
you want a definite answer, there is no definite answer because I have stated
above that Sky is the limit. The earnings depend upon many things like your
skillset. For example, web developers make more money than data entry workers
and writers. It also depends upon your experience in the field of freelancing.
Rather than sharing definite numbers, I will share with you same surveys and
stats.
Stats and surveys:
In
2015, a survey was done. In this surveys, 643 freelancers were participating.
80% were writers like I, 10% were consultant and marketing strategist and 10% were graphic designers. 62 percent
were making a lot of money because they were working full time.
“The median income for all
respondents is $10,001–$20,000. A little over 19 percent of respondents made
more than $50,000 last year, including about five percent who earned six
figures.”
The
amazing thing is that the 47%freelancers were only working 10-12 hours a week
and only took 2 jobs in a week. $20000 a year may not seem much in the
countries like US but consider that the some of the freelancers were new bees.
I
will share you another survey done by the biggest freelance hub “UpWork”. The survey tells that the 60% of the
freelancers who quit their full time jobs are now earning more than that job.
23% said that they quit a job with an employer in order to freelance. 85% were
very happy of choosing freelancing as a profession.
Success story:
Do
a quick search on Google to find out hundreds of success stories of
freelancers. I am from Pakistan, so I will share the success story of the man
of my country. The name is “Hisham Sarwar”. This man is also my teacher in freelancing. He started freelancing
from a single computer in 2000s, from a country in which IT has not a lot of
scope.
He
worked on a single freelance marketplace
“Guru”. He earned $1000000 (1 million) within 10 years of his freelance career.
He was a graphic designer and later on a content writer and web developer as
well.
There
are bundles of people who have succeeded in the field of freelancing.
