Freelancing is very complicated. People think that it is so easy but the face is if you don’t know about the policies of the freelancing, you will face a lot of hurdles down the road.

Many freelancers face the problem in which their account or profile gets banned by the particular marketplace. In some freelance marketplace it is very easy to get your profile unbanned but there are certain marketplaces like Fiverr and UpWork whose privacy policy is so strict. It is so difficult to unban your profile.

Today, I am giving you some very important tips by which you can unban your profile in any freelance marketplace. If you implement the instructions correctly, there are 60% chances that your profile will be unbanned.

1- Lots of Bids without response:

Fiverr does not use the bid system so, there is no issue in that. But in traditional marketplaces, there are some issues. Especially on UpWork because the level of UpWork is higher than the other freelance marketplaces and also there is a saturation of freelancers there. They also want to maintain their quality standards. So, if you bid and bid a lot of time without getting any response, there is a chance that your profile might be banned. 2- Using two accounts from one computer:

This is a major factor especially in Fiverr and UpWork. If you use two profiles from just one computer there is a strong chance that their bots will detect your profile and ban it. There is an IP address of every internet. So, they can detect easily and your profile will be banned.

3- Dispute with the employer:

This is also a very major factor. Disputing one time will not have a major effect but disputing again and again can cause you profile banned. First, before banning your profile, freelance marketplace will send you an E-mail that your profile has banned temporarily and do following things to unban it but if you have done a big mistake, your profile will be banned directly without any warning.

Give a Proof of innocence:

Give the proof of your innocence to the freelance marketplace that it was not your mistake, it was just a misunderstanding. You are correct and you are ready to give all the proofs to the marketplace. You should have all the documentations. If you give you NIC, Driving license and passport. There are 80% chances that your profile will be unbanned.

Writing a statement:

With all the documents you should also write the statement that it was not your mistake and if it was your mistake you should apologize by admitting your mistake. By doing this, the marketplace will know that you are a responsive freelancer and you will not do such a thing ever again. Because freelance marketplace never like that you are proving themselves wrong and yourself right, it would not be useful. This should be the attitude of a freelancer.
